National Customs Brokers Association of Liberia. Enacted in 1994 as the Mother Organization for all Individuals or Firms and Businesses who are engaged in Customs Clearing and Freight Forwarding in the Republic of Liberia. We are the foundation of the Nation’s Economy. The NCBAL is a crucial entity overseeing customs clearing processes in Liberia, ensuring the lawful and efficient import and export of goods. It collaborates with the Liberia Revenue Authority and other relevant bodies to regulate customs brokerage, certify agents, and provide necessary training.
The NCBAL's efforts are aimed at streamlining customs procedures, reducing
clearance times, and upholding the interests of its members while combating
customs fraud. It plays a significant role in advocating for policies that
facilitate trade and ensure compliance with international standards, thus
contributing to Liberia's economic development. By enhancing trade
facilitation and maintaining transparency in customs transactions, the NCBAL
